NAFRIWA was born in the informal settlements of Kayole, Nairobi — not in a boardroom, but in a circle of women pooling small savings, sharing burdens, and daring to dream bigger. What started as a merry-go-round savings group has grown into a structured, board-governed Alliance that transforms systemic vulnerability into community-led power.
